A good day

The bees love my lavender. But did you ever try photographing a bee, without knowing anything about shutter speeds?

Apparently, a study at Southern Baptist University showed that people who wrote about their trauma tested better for immune function than the non-writing control group. That would be me, then. So, small yet beautifully formed readership, as dear as you are to me, you are welcome to stop reading at any time, because I will forever write, come what may, because it works for me.

Other discoveries: sometimes grey hair grows back its original colour after chemotherapy - the potential for cost savings here are enormous. Read a design magazine on the tube, thinking: "I could do that!", not in a miserable-sod-all-modern-art-could be-done-by-a-child sort of way, but an: "I could do that!!!", really excited at new possibilities sort of way. Joyful times. Also read leaflet re: state benefits, hideously complex, and that was just the overview. Less joyful times.
