Medical recap

I've had a few calls this week from baffled readers saying, "So, are you ill or aren't you?" All I can say is: I don't know, and nor do my medical team - they're arguing with each other. A month ago I was told to expect a mastectomy, reconstruction & chemotherapy, on top of which I was in enough pain to merit a CT scan (for my liver) & Bone Scan - all of which turned up nothing except a lesion in my liver, & an area that might be fluid in the same breast which had surgery & radiotherapy last year. I'm certainly still in pain & nowhere close to 100%.

So, back to the drawing board & more tests, starting tomorrow, & unlikely to bring clarity until at least 4th Sept. Hope that helps. Sorry if gory.

Mrs W - it's 3 miles from your favourite shopping multiplex to Muesli Hill, so I reckon that's a definite date, then!
Have had splendid day with MP, little B & BBIL. Little B (almost 3), can now bellow "In your face!", like the street urchin that he isn't. But he does so with one hand firmly on hip, Larry Grayson style, which somewhat takes the edge off.
Onward, onward. That's Colorado in the photo, by the way. GG: when I'm clearer about hospital dates, I might run them by you. xx
