Dilmah

Arguably, suppliers of the world's best Earl Grey.  Well, I've never found better.  But silly Sainsbury's only stocked their Darjeeling and English Breakfast, fields in which Dilmah promptly drowned in way too much competition, so they're being taken off the shelves.  If not in Sri Lanka (and, let's be honest, one doesn't get there as often as one ought), I buy it in bulk direct from Dilmah (see sidebar) and share among the grateful (if you are not among them, go on, try it, order your own.  For that matter, if anyone has seen it on sale in a real live shop, please let me know).

.
Stompily out of bed, remained calm all of ?60 seconds before having to, having to turn on laptop and write.  Wrote in notebook because couldn't stand waiting for laptop to wake up.  This is getting quite serious.  But at least it keeps me sitting.
.
Today's aspiration:  aside from seeing Nursie and getting some food in, to get lost in a project, any project, but preferably one that would keep me on the sofa, off the computer.  If I actually did everything on the Non-Urgent To Do list, then what would I do?  Would it reveal some great cavernous space?  Or the blindingly obvious?  And no, I can't bear to share the list with you, too toe-curlingly absurd.
.
It's a delicate dance.  I really, really need a painkiller before I see Nursie.  But it'll scotch the idea of driving to Sainsbury's.  What to do.  It's a minimum ten weeks for the breast to heal before the gallbladder op - that's a lot of codeine.  I'd rather not end up with a habit.  Managed on just 2 yesterday (5 day before).
