One for Calverts

Illustration from my late cousin Lily's 'Wonder Book of Why and What'.
.
Have been wondering what Custard Apple thought of my new shoes (and I really did try to think of a sexy English summer fruit before I settled on that.  Sorry).
.
Mrs Clippie, I may yet borrow your legal eagle brain.  GG1 - if you thought the last forwarded e-mail preposterous, things more surreal still since.
.
Aiming for Persephone Books today - v.close to Homoeopathic Hospital, home to Miss Pettigrew.  Conscious of rarely mentioning what I do before I do it, as every little thing is subject to change these days.
.
And if any of my visitors need the highest quality print/design work thoughtfully seen through by a prize-winningly ethical co-operative, then www.calverts.coop is where it's at.
.
GG1, you'll never credit it - my ruddy Norton's on the blink for the 4th time in a month.  How much did I pay them???  Time to sack'em.
.
During a loose end, I plodded through one of those "Free!  Discover your ideal job!" online questionnaires - www.humanmentrics.com -  Turns out (no surprises here) that I'm ideal for Social Work, Religious Education, Education or Counselling.  I'm more in need of being on the receiving end than the giving, these days.  It'll change round again, eventually.  We hope.
