Thank heavens that's over..

..and thank you our J, as ever the reassuring escort.  Felt cross-eyed with tired relief from the moment we were out of there.  Slid into compact MRI machine, mere inches of space between nose and lid, hands sticking out over my head, immediate and ongoing need to scratch my nose, feet twiddling out of the bottom, strange clampy thing across my chest [please don't disturb my dressing], line in one arm, emergency alarm to squeeze in the other hand, "Why would I need to use it exactly?", oh, some people decide they've had enough.  After the first quarter of an hour, I was beginning to see why.  Breathe in, breathe out, hold it, could you breathe faster and deeper please?
.
Lovely lunch in our favoured Il Sorriso, though the bargain menu has evaporated for Christmas.  Surrounded by men in suits.
.
Thanks to our E, I have a UMass gardening calendar for 2009.  If at a loose end, I could follow its instructions to the letter...  January 11th - start sketching a plan of your garden beds;  January 17th - paint handles of easily misplaced hand tools with a vivid color.
.
Sleep now; Pride and Prejudice on tv later.
