Where would I be without him, and his fine selection of continental fruit, vegetables and sundry items, madam? I ate the Alphonso mango and chicoos overlooking the Serpentine, half way through a pleasant potter along the Princess Diana Heritage Trail (or somesuch). Came home to Aroona's fabulously (un)reliable recipes while listening to a lovely bit of Dudley Moore's music on Radio 4. Clockwise from the carrots.. carrot kosumali (Mangalore), potato curry (Andhra Pradesh), cluster bean kootu (only I doubt they're cluster beans - I'm rubbish at identifying my beans), brinjal curry, some organic curds, a lime pickle ("This product may contain nuts" - oh, give it a rest"), and a mango chhundo, home made in innermost Tottenham.
