Slower than in living memory lately.  Perhaps I'm getting as much go-slow as I can before the Great Return (date as yet unspecified but imminent).  Have strategically altered placement of radio alarm in endeavour to get out of bed tomorrow during the Today programme's 7-8 slot, rather than  in the silence that follows.

Walking everywhere in proper winter walking boots;  can't forget buying them new laces in the run-up to my first operation, wholly aware of the absurd displacement-activity-madness of it all.
Wandered around Woolworth's final day - a sad, seedy experience.  Even the shop fixtures had been ripped down and were on sale.
