Yorkshire Parkin

All around me, the world is returning to work, and I am photographing Yorkshire Parkin.  According to Molly Keane's Nursery Cooking (a collection of comfort recipes if ever there was one), I must leave it in a tin for a week before eating.  This seems extremely unfair, even Mrs Beeton only suggests a day or two.

My never-ending-story with Nursey continues.  The gap is only a centimetre deep now, progress indeed.
