Farewell, seaweed

At last!  As of today, no more seaweed dressing, and I can finally submerge myself in the bath, on the understanding that I've slung in a generous handful of salt, not bath crystals, so as to enable the very last centimetre or two to heal.  I am jubilant.  And so, for the first night in five and a half months, I can go to bed without wearing a bra to keep my dressings in place.  This is bliss!

And it had better heal up, because it's only a month until the next mammogram.

Hiya
You have been in my thoughts and hope to meet up at the Haven soon. They have some great groups now , one for younger women every month on a wednesday( second week) and then this new one on moving on post breast cancer(evening time). Maybe we could do another sushi lunch when we do meet there. Enjoy your bath !!
take care

Lovely to hear from you - hope you had a wonderful time in India. I'm building up my working hours, haven't been to the Haven for ages. Maybe the evening group would be the thing. Will you let me know when you're going? The bath is glorious.

Well, you know you're always welcome to come and make use of the facilities, with or without visiting Jaaneman and/or the dentist.

Hiya
Great to read that you are back to work and hope that it is not too exhausting. Think there is an evening group in March and then in May, though not sure about the dates right now. I won't be able to make it to the March one but hope to attend the May one and will send you the dates well in advance, so you can see it the time/date suits you. take care
